Because I believe that opportunity is a human right, I am inspired to work with social change organizations to fulfill your missions abundantly and successfully.
With every project I take a holistic approach tailored to each individual organization based on its nuances and needs.
I have 17 years of successful nonprofit leadership, government service, and higher education administration work, with a specialty in driving positive, long term cultural change within organizations. I am most grateful for my work as a mentor, collaborator, and optimist. While at Umpqua Community College (UCC) in Oregon, I raised $25 million in grants for students and capital projects such as the Southern Oregon Wine Institute and the Ford Health and Sciences Center. We completed three capital campaigns in my 12 years at UCC as Director of Grants, then Executive Director for Advancement and the UCC Foundation.
I also served as Executive Director of a Boys & Girls Club, Park Ranger for the National Park Service and U.S. Forest Service, and AmeriCorps Volunteer. Most recently, I was the Director for University Advancement at Radford University in southwest Virginia, working closely with the College of Visual and Performing Arts and the College of Health and Human Services.
A Fulbright Scholar and a Senior Fellow with the American Leadership Forum of Oregon, I hold a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Montana, a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from Oklahoma State University, and am a Certified Fund Raising Professional (CFRE).
I love tackling Big, Hairy Audacious Goals (BHAGs) and helping organizations achieve impressive results. My methods are personalized, data-driven, flexible, and fun. I would love the opportunity to partner with you to reach yours too.
